About the Artist: Charlotte Weiner Yudis (1941–2009) was a pioneering Philadelphia-based printmaker. Formerly a medical technician, she was among the first to merge biological imagery with fine art. Her work is celebrated for its "ethereal beauty" and is held in prestigious collections, having been exhibited at the Woodmere Art Museum and the University City Science Center.
