Our History
Founded in 2007 by Florcy Morisset, Vivant Art Collection began as a cultural arts gallery in the Historic District of Philadelphia, dedicated to celebrating the richness of global narratives from Haiti, Mexico, Africa and Middle East. What started as a passion has evolved into an exclusive gallery that curates and exhibits contemporary art. Vivant’s journey is a testament to our deep appreciation for the diverse stories and vibrant cultures that inspire us. Over the years, we have collaborated with now-established artists, cultivating a discerning community of collectors who seek to acquire art that is both beautiful and culturally significant.
Artistic Affiliations
Vivant Art Gallery proudly collaborates with leading cultural organizations, galleries, and artists from around the world to showcase diverse and distinct artwork. Through our strategic partnerships, Florcy serves as a African American Collections Committee member at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, reflecting our commitment to supporting the global art organizations doing work in the community. Past appointments, include at the Worcester Art Museum, the African American Museum of Philadelphia, and as an Arts Ambassador for the City of Philadelphia.
