Curator Florcy Morisset, also rooted in Philadelphia, was deeply moved by Nomo’s tribute to Bishop Allen—founder of Mother Bethel AME Church—and proudly includes his work in Vivant’s collection to carry that legacy forward. Nomo’s voice lives on not only in his murals, but in the communities and conversations he helped uplift.
